What are the ISES Ohio WOW! Awards?
The ISES Ohio WOW! Awards are an opportunity for statewide recognition and a showcase to celebrate event professionals, and their events, in Ohio. The awards program allows us to:
- Promote professionalism within the events industry
- Acknowledge the extraordinary efforts, performance, and outstanding contributions of ISES members and industry professionals
- Provide the distinct competitive advantage to sing your praises to customers, potential clients, vendors and colleagues, reminding them of your accomplishments and industry expertise
- A forum to highlight clients projects
Who can enter the awards?
Event professional that are based in Ohio.
What is the cost to enter the Awards?
The ISES Ohio WOW! Awards cost (to be announced) per submission entry until February 1, 2012 11:59 EST. Any entries submitted after February 1st 11:59 EST until February 15th at 11:59 EST will incur an additional $25 fee per entry.
Any awards submitted after February 15th, 2012, 11:59 EST will not be accepted in the awards competition.

When and Where are the ISES Ohio WOW! Awards?
The ISES Ohio WOW! Awards will rotate each year to a different ISES Ohio city. The current schedule is Columbus 2012, Cleveland 2013, and Cincinnati 2014.

Why should I enter the ISES Ohio WOW! Awards?
By entering the ISES Ohio WOW! Awards, you are able to demonstrate the incredible experiences and projects that you and your company are creating. This is your opportunity to show people what you can do and what makes you stand apart from your competition. Imagine being able to tell your clients that your company is “award winning!”
Who judges the awards?
In order to maintain fairness in the judging, the ISES Ohio WOW! Award submissions are entirely anonymous and are judged by event professionals from another state/region of the United States. All of the entries must be anonymous (no mention of names or company names are allowed in the entries). No local ISES members or event professionals are involved in the judging process.

What are the most common reasons for disqualification?
If you follow the rules and submission instruction guide and category specific guidelines, your entry will be valid. Most common mistakes include: Logo, entrant name and/or company name included in the entered content, on submitted file names or in collateral materials. Incomplete budgets or those not including all elements/retail costs are also cause for disqualification.
